Mirai Konishi is a Los Angeles–based writer, filmmaker, and journalist. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, he has interviewed more than 1,000 filmmakers and performers, reported on Hollywood for Japanese publications, and directed the documentary Kampai! For the Love of Sake. His fiction draws on decades spent between Japanese and American film cultures.
